Ibiza:
Where do you like to party ... on the land or sea or foam? Anything's
possible here and if all you want to do is 'give it some'
round-the-clock check out San Antonio ... the rest of you read
on.
The island has so much to offer but one of the biggest headaches for
tour operators is how to market Ibiza to such a cross section of
holidaymakers; young people who want to be clubbin' it in San An and those who, err ... don't. July and August are when the hot
spots are at their most boisterous due to the sheer numbers of revelers
who flock here.

Excursions:
- 'Club Fiestaland' is one of the latest
American-style theme parks to be cloned on Spanish territory. Here,
near Playa d'en Bossa the theme is sport so you'll find a water
park, football pitches, squash, tennis and mini-golf, plus
children's playgrounds.
- Short cruises to nearby Formentera are popular;
the island that tourism 'almost' forgot has little development,
deserted beaches, and home to locals who dress the part and use
bicycles to get about. Almost a living museum to how Spain used to
be.
- Ibiza Town comes alive on weekend evenings with
the weird-and-wonderful, showing off their fashion sense. It's an
unofficial street parade that's well worth watching.
-
One 18-hole golf course near Santa
Eulalia. |
